Privacy policy

Protecting your data matters to me. This page explains in plain words what data is processed when you visit this website or send an enquiry. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For visitors from the EU, the GDPR also applies.

2. Visiting the website

The website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA). When you open a page, the host processes technically necessary connection data, for example your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser type. This is needed to show the page and keep it secure. The fonts are stored on the website itself, so no data is sent to Google Fonts.

3. Contact form

If you use the form, you send your name, email address, your reason for writing, your message and, if you want a reply on WhatsApp, your number. You can also pick a treatment. The details reach me as an email through the service Web3Forms (servers in the USA). I only use them to answer your enquiry, and I delete them once it is dealt with and no legal retention applies. Please do not enter health details in the form that I do not need for your enquiry.

4. WhatsApp

The “Book via WhatsApp” buttons open WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). I only learn your number and name once you send a message. WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply to that message.

5. Google Maps

A Google Maps map is embedded on the page. When the map loads, your IP address is sent to Google, even if you do not use the map. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Cookies, Google tag and advertising (only with your consent)

I run advertising on Google Ads. To measure how visitors find this site and whether an ad led to an enquiry, I use the Google tag (Google LLC, USA). It sets cookies and sends data such as your IP address, pages viewed, device and browser, and the fact that an enquiry was sent.

This only happens if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, nothing is sent to Google. Your choice is stored in your browser only. You can change it at any time: click “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

7. Google reviews, Facebook and Instagram

The links to Google reviews, Facebook and Instagram are plain links. Data is only transferred once you click them. The privacy policy of that provider then applies.

8. Transfers abroad

Some of these services (Netlify, Web3Forms, Google, Meta) process data in the USA or other countries. I rely on the providers’ safeguards, for example the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

9. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, and for it to be corrected or deleted. You can object to processing and withdraw any consent at any time. Write to me at info@fusspraxis-christina.ch. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or to the supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.
